About The Fellowship Program
The HCM Foundation 2026 Fellowship Programme is a strategic leadership and technical capacity-building initiative designed to develop a pipeline of highly skilled young professionals. It is a high-impact, 5-month professional development programme designed to equip young Nigerians with practical skills in technology, Data Science, Project management, and Entrepreneurship development. Through intensive training, mentorship, and real-world project deployment, fellows gain hands-on experience solving public-sector and development challenges. The programme is built to accelerate career growth, develop leadership capacity, and prepare participants for meaningful impact in Nigeria’s digital and economic transformation.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver structured curriculum (bootcamp + specialization)
- Teach both general & professional modules and deep technical content
- Lead intensive Month 1 bootcamp
- Supervise and instruct fellows during Months 2–4 deployment
- Conduct weekly evaluations
- Mentor fellows and guide capstone projects
- Participate in defense panels
- Submit weekly/monthly performance reports
- Create training videos
- Weekly lesson planning and mentoring
- Assignment design & Performance scoring
- Mentorship feedback
- Instructors that have facilitation knowledge of the following courses will be an added advantage 1. Digital Literacy (MS Office, Google Workspace) 2. Change Management and PowerPoint 3. Public Speaking and Presentation Skills 4. Professional Communication & Writing
Requirements
- Must have 3 – 5 years cognitive experience of the selected track
- Available full-time for 5 months
- Must reside in Nigeria (preference for applicants with place to stay in Gombe)
